INVESTMENT APPROACH
• Investment conduct: we target investments where we can add value by handed on supporting participation and experience in the industry and corporate governance
• Risk management: minimize risk by diversifying the investment portfolio across different stages and companies/projects with replaceable or supporting products/service
• Return rate: we aims to obtain an IRR of at least 20% p.a in SGD for each investment
• Scope of control: for most of investments, we target to hold the controlling stake. A non-controlling stake will be conservatively assessed before the investment decision can be made
• Investment term and Exit: To create value or synergies among investments, the Company sets middle term or long term for each investment. Enhancing investees’ performance over time will enable us to divest from the investment at a premium price over accumulated investment costs or by equitizing investee into a public company

– Privatized state-owned enterprises with remarkable brand and market share, and be open for restructuring

ESG AND CSR
• We believe that environmental, social and corporate governance issues (“ESG”) can affect the performance of our investee companies and may better align investors with broader objectives of the society. We are determined to take appropriate considerations and strive for improvements in these areas
• Corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) is thus a matter affecting our business decisions. It is via our powers and rights as a shareholder or board member in our investee companies that we can make a difference. There can be cases where our ability can be limited equally to our ownership. However, we strongly favor a corporate process where we agree with our co-owners and the managers of our investee companies on improvements in environmental, social and corporate governance issues
